Threats to renewable energy industry

As the UN's climate change panel warns governments to rapidly transition to renewables to avoid climate disaster - why are some governments still continuing to put barriers in the way of clean energy? Australia's government is planning to cut its renewable energy target from 41,000 gigawatt hour to 27,000 gigawatt hours - which clean energy experts say will destroy the country's renewable energy industry. The international law firm Baker and McKenzie has analysed the impact of the Australian reduction in Renewable energy targets, or RET's.
