The cost of domestic violence

A new report says if nothing is done to address domestic violence, the financial and economic burden will grow more than ten fold - to nearly 80 billion dollars in a decade. The study's been commissioned by the Glenn Inquiry, which is looking into the problem of child abuse and domestic violence, which results in an average of 12 deaths a year in this country. The lead author on the project is the economist, Suzanne Snively.
