Russian aspirations in the Arctic

International Relations Professor Alexander Sergunin of St. Petersburg State University has written extensively about Russia's militarisation of the Arctic region, and talks about Russia's claim to annex nearly 500-thousand square miles of new oil rich Arctic territory.
