Palaeontologist on our new understanding of Tyrannosaurus Rex

A world-renowned dinosaur expert discusses the 21st century's fresh discoveries about the evolution of Tyrannosaurus rex from a small fuzzy carnivore to the largest and last of the Tyrannosaur predators. Dr. Thomas Holtz is a vertebrate palaeontologist specializing in the origin, evolution, and adaptations of carnivorous dinosaurs. He is the writer of Dinosaurs: The most complete, up-to-date encyclopedia for dinosaur lovers of all ages. He was a consultant for the BBC's Walking with Dinosaurs series and is currently Senior Lecturer in the University of Maryland's Department of Geology.
