Paul and Rebecca Garland have recipes for camp scones, four cheese pasta or gnocchi and steamed ginger pudding.
Paul Garland has been a keen tramper for 50 years, he's walked the length of New Zealand and is now an Alpaca farmer. His daughter Rebecca Garland is a surgeon in Wellington, she has been on many a family expedition into the wilderness as a child, and now takes her own children on tramps.
The father and daughter team love cooking and tasty food and think it's important to eat well in the great outdoors.
They've collaborated on a book - New Zealand Backcountry Cooking.
