Almost two-thousand people are being evacuated from the eastern Bay of Plenty town of Edgecumbe. A state of emergency has been declared while the police and volunteers going door-to-door to get people out. Mayor Tony Bonne has just arrived in Edgecombe and talks to Katherine Ryan.
