Survey finds concerns over Communities of Learning
The secondary teachers' union has surveyed it members on attitudes towards the government's 359 million dollar cornerstone education policy to raise student achievement.The PPTA says fewer than half of principals who have joined Communities of Learning, believe the goals set are realistic. It has also found resentment toward the bonuses being paid to "expert" teachers in school groups. Kathryn Ryan talks to the PPTA's President Jack Boyle.
