How a musical education opens employment doors

From Nine To Noon, 10:07 am on 30 May 2019

Susan de Weger has described herself as a failed musician, however music remains at the centre of her world.

She's an Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne's Conservatorium of Music teaching music entrepreneurship, and she also runs a consulting practice, Notable Values.

As a French horn player, she says her own musical training equipped her with a multitude of skills which are transferable to other disciplines.

Now she enjoys connecting young musicians with audiences, and helping them to build their careers.
