NASA Senior Engineer Tim Atkins talks to Kathryn Ryan about the future of deep space exploration and the progress made to date by the space agency in putting humans back on the moon by 2024.
He's in Alabama's "Rocket City", home to NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center which is developing a Space Launch System poised to be the most powerful rocket in history.
Tim Atkins manages avionics requirements, testing, and analyses for key components of the Artemis Programs, at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center: the Space Launch System and Human Lander. He is also the University of Canterbury Erskine Fellow 2019.
