The Equal Employment Opportunities Commissioner, Saunoamaali'i Dr Karanina Sumeo is sounding warnings around gender inequalities in the Covid-19 economic response.
She's asked the government for a 'please explain' as to why when women have been disproportionately affected by the crisis, the initiatives aimed at boosting the economy mostly favour men.
