Kiwi start-up begins extracting precious metals from e-waste

Kiwi firm Mint has opened its Sydney refinery for extracting precious metals from e-waste, using micro-organisms. 

The Auckland-based startup will extract gold, platinum and other precious metals from old cellphones, laptops and other e-waste.

Kathryn speaks with co-founder and Chief Executive Will Barker from Sydney.
