Transpower is warning of an increased risk of power cuts in Northland as it does emergency work on high voltage lines that are threatened by a major slip.
The slip near Wellsford is threatening two transmission towers carrying the lines, with a risk more bad weather could cause further movement. Kathryn speaks to Transpower's General Manager Grid Delivery Mark Ryall.
