Debora says there is no simple escape for the people of Sudan, who have been living with gunshots ringing out in residential areas and fighter jets thundering for weeks now.

A recent daring rescue mission by US special forces evacuated around 100 American diplomatic staff from Khartoum, the battle-torn capital of Sudan.

She also talks to Kathryn about Russia's growing influence in Africa in recent years and after the invasion of Ukraine.
