The country's cycling trails are shaping up to be better than ever with the first stage of Te Ara Mangawhero - on the Mountains to Sea Ngā Ara Tūhono Great Ride - opening earlier this month.
There's a new bridge allowing cyclists to travel on the Hawke's Bay Trails Great Ride for the first time since Cyclone Gabrielle wreaked havoc, and two newcomers: Nature's Road on the East Coast of the North Island and Nevis Valley in Southland.
