Quad bike safety rules

The Labour Department has just announced a raft of measures aimed at curbing the high rates of death and injury from quad bikes. The changes come after Wellington coroner Ian Smith criticised the Government for failing to bolster the law around ATVs. More than 100 New Zealanders have died in quad bike accidents in the last decade.
