Should criminal trials be less confrontational for victims?

A Law Commission consulation paper released this morning suggests it may be time to give judges more of a key role in criminal trials, to ensure those trials are fairer and less confrontational for victims and witnesses. We hear from Warren Young, a consultant for the Commission and spokesperson for the project.
