Artwork by Reuben Paterson
From Nine to Noon 21 February 2014
New Zealand artist Reuben Paterson is known for his paintings featuring glitter and diamond dust. He began working with sculpture three years ago and has recently created his largest to date – a life-size, gold-glittered, tree in New Plymouth's Pukekura Park. The former teacher talks to Kathryn Ryan about giving glitter a makeover and branching out into drawing.
