Christchurch band Yurt Party have people dancing in bars, at parties and literally in the street to their Balkan folk-inspired 'gypsy roots music' which incorporates dub reggae and house.
Classically-trained violinist Lorenz Weston-Salzer and multi-instrumentalist, music teacher and sound designer Tom Harris founded the six-piece band for a live performance in our Christchurch studio.
