One In Five for Sunday 19 April 2009
Tonight, we talk to the Mayor of Gisborne City who's painted parts of the town blue. Athough it's the colour red that's focusing the mind of another disability service - Recreate Auckland as it tries to survive the economic downturn. And talking about the non-government sector - how can it work with government to make the United Nations disability rights convention a reality in New Zealand? We meet up with an international human rights lawyer, Professor Gerard Quinn, who has some ideas on that score.
