One In Five for Sunday 5 October 2014
Left: Sharyn Hildreth: "Living with MS means having a ‘Plan B’."
Middle: Malcolm Corbett: "Don’t let anybody say ‘you cant!'"
Right: Yvonne Nelson: "You can’t let MS get you down."
For Sharyn Hildreth having MS has meant often needing to have a ‘plan B’. Directing plays rather than acting in them has become her latest ‘plan B’. Sharyn is one of 4,000 New Zealanders who live with Multiple Sclerosis. It’s a condition that affects the central nervous system and can result in disabilities, both visible and invisible. This week, One in Five is in Hawkes Bay to meet four people living their lives in the company of MS.
