Root Canals
University of Otago science communication student Katherine Lyttle heads to the School of Dentistry at the University of Otago to find out if she needs a root canal. Along the way, she meets PhD student Jeeson Sajeev and University of Queensland Dental School student Tim Philips to find out how root canals are carried out at the moment, and discover what the future might hold.
The Centre for Science Communication at the University of Otago runs masters level courses in natural history film-making, science writing and general science communication.
