Sam Hunt, Companion of the NZ Order of Merit

From King’s Birthday Monday with Anna Thomas, 9:50 am on 7 June 2010

Recognised for his services to poetry, Sam Hunt was today made a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit. He was awarded a QSM in 1986.
