Jon Lee Anderson

Jon Lee Anderson began contributing to The New Yorker in 1998 and became a staff writer in 1999. He has written several books, reported frequently from Iraq, and has covered the conflicts in Afghanistan, Angola, and Lebanon. He wrote a profile of Hugo Chavez for the magazine earlier this year.
