Beagle Boys
Every so often Pearl, Basil, Monty and Cracker like to get together with thirty of their mates for a Saturday morning walk. Oh, and thirty humans come too.
You see P, B, M and C are all beagles, those small friendly dogs used as detection animals by agricultural authorities at airports around the world.
Karen Staniland and Pearl
The beagle is notoriously ruled by its nose which can lead an untrained owner seriously astray, so the Beagle Club is basically a support group. David Steemson joins owners and dogs on their latest outing and hears tales of wrecked living rooms, stolen roasts and even a pillaged wedding. Despite all this, it’s clear the humans still adore their pets!
