Top New Zealand crime novelist Paul Cleave's new book seems to be moving towards science fiction - or even horror. In it, teenage boy Joshua receives eye transplants - one from his police officer father and the other from a criminal. The two men died during a shoot out. Then Joshua starts to get contrasting flashbacks, through his two new eyes...
