9:45 A genealogy breakthrough with Dr Fran Tyler and Deb Morris

You may remember Dr Fran and Deb of Genealogy Investigations from the first week of Summer Times.

We asked listeners to get in touch if they had hit a brick wall while researching their family tree.

One of the emails we received was from Marlene Whetton, who wanted to trace the birth family of her maternal grandmother, Violet, who was adopted out and died when Marlene's mother was only three months old.

Fran, Deb and Marlene join Anna to share an update.

10:45 Museum stop: Bill Richardson's Transport World

We head to Invercargill today for our museum stop where one man's passion for trucks has led to one of the largest private automotive museums in the world.

Bill Richardson's Transport World began life as a truck museum but has expanded to include 300 vintage vehicles. The Museum's tourism operations manager Courtney Russell joins Anna to tell her about the man himself and the legacy he's left behind.

Bill stands in front of a large red car, resting his elbow on the hood, smiling.
