Kapiti lizards research
A lizard garden tucked away amidst Kapiti coast regenerating bush is proving a hit with the intended residents, and it's also been a great way of getting the community involved in conservation projects. Lynn Freeman visited the site with Andy McKay who's the Convenor of Nga Uruora - the Kapiti biodiversity project to find out more about it, and meet some of the other volunteers who turned out to do the all important weeding and monitoring.
