Ranui Ngarimu is an expert weaver and a past Chairperson of Te Roopu Rarangi Whatu o Aotearoa-Māori Weavers New Zealand. She's worked to weave and promote weaving all around Aotearoa, and even in Antarctica.
Ranui has been made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit For services to Maori art and culture, particularly weaving.
