Noelle McCarthy leads a discussion about education – our schools, our teachers, the various factors that influence what sort of an education New Zealand children receive (depending on their circumstances and where they are in the country) and what that means for their chances later in life.
Gregor Fountain is Principal of Paraparaumu College, a state co-ed school of about 1,150 students about an hour North of Wellington, and also a father of three boys age six and twins of age four.
Stuart Middleton is Director of External Relations at the Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT), and an education expert who has taught teachers and worked as a consultant across the Pacific and advised on policy in the UK.
