Barney Koneferenisi trains five times a week to represent New Zealand's national wheelchair rugby team - the Wheelblacks.
He is also a recent recipient of the Prime Minister's Pacific Youth Award, which will see him travel to Sri Lanka, Hawaii and Fiji this year.
