Hamish McKeitch

The Royal New Zealand Ballet's latest production Romeo and Juliet is underway in Wellington, before it starts its tour around Aotearoa. Last week RNZ Concert's Bryan Crump spoke with the man directing the live orchestra, Hamish McKeitch. His job is to keep both the music and the dance together. But Hamish is also relaunching his own career. He suffered a serious stroke in 2021, the sort of thing that could quite easily forced an early retirement.
