Connan Mockasin's psychedelic music is trippy, dream pop with an ethereal feel, but he describes it as leaning more towards rhythm and blues. Mockasin lives in California, where he's just supported James Blake on six shows. He was also handpicked by John Cale to play at the 50th anniversary of 'The Velvet Underground & Nico' in concert in New York and John Cale's 75th Birthday 'future-spective'. He's played with Liam Finn, toured with Charlotte Gainsbourg, opened for Radiohead, and collaborated with Paul McCartney. Back home for a headline tour as well as Nostalgia festival, he speaks to Wallace Chapman.
