Stepping up to the microphone in the House for the first time can be a daunting experience but it's one that all new MPs must go through.
It's called a maiden speech and this Parliament there are 32.
Usually new MPs will use their 15 minutes to outline their hopes, beliefs, and personal journey, but sometimes they'll add a bit of humour.
The House collected a few of the lighter moments from the maiden speeches given so far.
