Dr Sara Candiracci: Designing cities that work for women

Cities largely aren't designed for women, and a global collective designers, engineers, and consultants want to change that. A report produced by both the UN Development Programme and the University of Liverpool are looking at 4 key areas of focus to improve women's lives in cities - with a gender responsive approach to planning and design. Dr Sara Candiracci is an associate director of ARUP, and the Europe leader for Social Value and Equity.
