The Panel with Tracey Bridges and Tim Watkin (Part 1)

From The Panel, 4:03 pm on 12 February 2018

A working group has been formed to tackle the housing issue, betwwen the Housing Minster, Auckland's Deputy Mayor and industry experts. It comes as a new report is released, revealing the housing crisis is worse than realised.Housing strategist and regular panellist Leonie Freeman joins the programme to discuss the working group, which she's been trying to establish for the last 18 months. The Automobile Association is calling for safety ratings to be displayed on vehicles when people buy them, after another disastrous weekend on the roads. Meanwhile a senior lecturer at Massey has been looking into the bad behaviours of drivers and found only a few of us - one in three - actually stop at stop signs in heavy traffic. We're also more likely to mimic the actions of drivers in front of us. We ask the lecturer, Dr Andrew Gilbrey from the School of Aviation, what he thinks this means.
