National's finance spokesman, Steven Joyce has announced he's retiring from politics. He plans to go back to commercial life. It comes after his failed bid for leader of the party. He's the first to go under Simon Bridges leadership.
We speak to former minister Peter Dunne about what this means for the party and why Mr Joyce chose now to step down.
