The Panel with Garry Moore and Miriama Aoake (Part 2)
The panelists debate the latest self-care trend "forest bathing". It was nothing to do with water, nudity or bathing, it's all about emmersing yourself in nature. Advocates encourage people to open their senses and connect with nature. We ask the panelists what they do to be part of the natural world. What the Panelists Garry Moore and Miriama Aoake want to talk about. Rotorua's controversial Mudtopia festival has lost its financing, after the local council voted to stop fundign it. The festival has been dogged with problems and a report says its too financially risky. We speak to Rotorua Deputy Mayor Dave Donaldson, about the issue. Patsy Holt is running her first marathon, at the age of 75, to raise money to support stroke affected children. Her 2 year old Granddaughter has suffered a series of strokes. Patsy calls her brave granddaughter Mighty Mouse. We ask her why she choose to run a marathon for the funds. The phrase apparently goes back to an advertisement on May 4 1979. Now, today's date is known around the world as Star Wars day. We see if the panelists are fans of the films and if so, what their favourite Yoda quote is.
