Taxes building and wages

It looks like we'll all be paying much more for the maintenance of New Zealand. Big rates rises in Otago and Aucklanders to be hit with a fuel tax on Sunday. The rest of the country won't be able to avoid a fuel tax though. Economist Cameron Bagrie crunches the numbers for us. He also discusses the state-of-the-nation's building projects - do we really not have the right skills to cope with building the much-needed housing stock? And what about wages?
