Surprise earthworks for Wanaka residents

The Queenstown Lakes District Council has dug up the lakefront at Wanaka. Trouble is, according to a local news website, the last anyone heard about any makeover plans was in 2016. The managing editor of Crux Peter Newport says locals deserve better from the Queenstown Lakes District Council.
