From The Panel, 4:05 pm on 15 October 2018

A big new study at the Australian National University reported by the Pacific Standard magazine has discovered that people who grow up in book-filled homes have higher reading, maths, and technology skills. What the Panelists Michael Moynahan and Jennie Moreton want to talk about. There seems to be a near consensus that petrol will reach $3 per litre. Truck drivers have protested today and there was news of a dead rat to swallow - the Transport fund financed by fuel taxes posted a $634 million surplus. Economist Brad Olsen talks about petrol reaching that $3 high and how much Saudi political intrigue could affect NZ fuel prices. There's Coromandel beachfront land for sale. A 40ha Matapaua Bay property with in Opito Bay has sea views towards Whitianga and Hot Water Beach, and its own sheltered bays visited by passing yachts.
