Four Bay of Plenty beaches are in the top ten, including Papamoa and Ohope. We ask the panelists what they think is our best beach. A proposed sign to the entrance of entrance of Mataura is causing consternation. Council officials have decided to srap the proposed red and black M, after people brought up that it has connotations of the mongrel mob, which has a big presence in the town. The panelists tell us what they think of the sign. We spoke last week about the high cost of dental care in New Zealand and now the NZ Medical Asociation has lent their weight to the call for more affordable dental care, saying significant disparities exist in oral health across the country.
