The Panel with Julia Whaipooti and Chris Gallavin (Part 1)
The replica of Captain Cook's Endeavour ship made its way into Turanganui-a-Kiwa today, greeted thousands of spectators and about 50 protestors. A recent report commissioned by Horticulture New Zealand suggests a single lettuce could cost as much as $5.50 in today's money by the year 2043. Agribusiness professor Hamish Gow joins the panel to discuss whether this is realistic, and whether we need to be guarding our fertile land more zealously.
