Story of the Day for 12 December 2019

Recently the Yorkshire evening Post ran a photo of a young boy on the floor of a Leeds hospital, after he had been removed from a bed due to a shortage - it's a powerful image of a young boy looking very unwell, with a drip, on the grey linoleum floor. Unfortunately - as the editor of the paper James Mitchison, put it "our original story was sucked into a vortex of disinformation that would make Orwell blush"
