Following the Whakaari / White Island eruption Workplace Relations and Safety Minister Iain Lees Galloway has encouraged people to check whether adventure companies are registered before using them. But as Stuff reports those in the industry say many operators don't fit the definition of adventure activities so don't have to be registered.
