Govt urged to do more for those plunged into hardship by pandemic

The Salvation Army is warning that the Covid-19 pandemic could exacerbate "unacceptable" levels of poverty and inequity in New Zealand. Following the release of its latest State of the Nation report, the Salvation Army is urging the government to do more to help those who had been plunged into hardship by the pandemic.
