Thousands gathered in Wellington during the weekend due to the Homegrown musical festival and the Hurricanes' game.
However, complaints have been posted to the Facebook group 'Vic Deals' about verbal, physical and sexual harassment.
That follows National MP Nicola Willis' earlier comments that she feels unsafe walking through Wellington's city streets.
