Remote area of Fiordland

"In the late 1980's I spent a few summers mapping the geology of central Southern Fiordland for my PhD in the mountainous area south of the head of Dusky Sound. One day I took a break from geology and with Jane Forsyth of the then Geological Survey climbed Cone Peak - I am fairly sure it was a first ascent."
