Anna Rankin is a writer, editor and journalist born in Aotearoa who lives in Los Angeles, where she is at present a Los Angeles Review of Books fellow at the University of Southern California. Her most recent work has been published in Landfall, Turbine/Kapohau and other outlets. Her writing practice is spread across journalism, essays, poetry and prose, and she is co-editor at Hard Press. Between studying, watching films and earning a living by myriad means she is finishing a manuscript of essays, a poetry chapbook, and a film-essay project with a friend.
Anna graduated with an MA in Creative Writing from the International Institute of Modern Letters in 2018.
