Georgia's mother disappeared with her lover when Georgia was young and hasn't been seen since. Georgia's father kept the farm for another 25 years then left the island. Georgia harbours a deep resentment of her mum for deserting her. When the father moves house, Georgia helps him. She finds some old photographs documenting events around that summer years ago when, as she says, 'Three girls went mad'.
