Conversations with My Immigrant Parents: Meet the Blahas

From Here Now, 7:00 am on 16 December 2019

On picture postcard Waiheke Island, Francisco and Vibeke are parents to teenagers Felix and Kika. The Blaha family have a combined Argentinian/Dutch culture and heritage, and they also juggle life as Kiwis here.

In this final Voices episode, the four of them talk about why coming from different countries means navigating more than just language and how the migration journey is more than skin deep.

Co-hosts and producers Saraid de Silva and Julie Zhu travelled Aotearoa met families from 11 different countries in this series, including the Blaha family.
